While on the subject of oil, I think the crank scraper also deserves its own post.

Pulled more directly from this post, the Tomei crank scraper essentially “slices” oil that is flung from the crank, and allows it to deposit more quickly back into the base of the pan. The baffles/windage trays prevent an excessive amount of oil from being scooped by the crank, and the slicer cuts off any additional oil on the crank.

I credit this mod, the Kiggly HLA, and my Racefab wetsump as the reason I have had no issues with oil pressure or starvation and keeping my engine as healthy as ever, as evidenced by my UOAs.
