Went to a local clear bra shop to redo the clear bra on the hood and add it for the bumper and mirrors – I was dead set on whatever they had for the 3M brand but these guys sold me on the XPEL Ultimate – the owner said the original XPEL brand films were pretty crappy, but this latest iteration is even better than 3M’s – they’re about equal in terms of protection from rock chips and both are UV-neutral, but XPEL is more invisible, more resistant to insects, and is self-healing. He said it’d look better on white cars than the 3M as well.

On top of that, XPEL has a 10 year warranty against yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering, and delaminating that covers parts and labor (vs 3M’s 5yr, which also covers parts and labor).
