irst time with BSCC’s autox today at the newly (still in progress) paved Family Arena. Fairly satisfied with what they were able to put out, especially with the lot we had available to us. The main point of the event, and so soon from nationals, was to break in the the new RS3V2s. I am really, really happy with how these tires performed today. Very grippy, and even though I was unable to mess with the pressures, I think I have a pretty good idea how to set them up. Hopefully with today’s 7 runs they are nice and scrubbed in, all ready for nationals!!
Not a great run, but my first ftdi ever. It felt a lot better driving it than how it looked in video, thought the run would turn out better than it did. A better driver could have probably put 2s on my run. Most of the issues were overdriving/overspeeding, leaving me unable to take a nice tight arc around the cones.
Things to work on:
- Smoother inputs
- Tighter lines and closer to the cones
Run count: 162
Notes:
- Breaking in the RS3V2s
- 1 rerun due to missed computer time on my 4th or 5th run
- No tire pressure gauge (left at the last event), unable to adjust tire pressures
