Unfortunately no video this event due to forgetting the camera in the morning!

Course was extremely fast, I was at the top of 2nd for more than a few seconds. on the front down stretch of the course. I had been shifting into 3rd, but ultimately ran faster staying in 2nd, dropping about 0.7s immediately, and ran a fast time of 54.676. 3rd in index a this event.

The Mini has been feeling extremely good since I added toe-out at the start of this year, tucking and rotating upon lifting and braking. I still won’t likely be competitive at nationals, but I’m very happy with how the car handles at least. I’ve got 23 runs on the RE71Rs so they are just scrubbed in for nats, while having plenty of tread in case of a rain at Lincoln.

Things to work on (Mini):

• Distance to cones, line
• Turn in earlier!!!
• Slalom speed
• Backing off continued to help – don’t be too aggressive, do more slow in fast out driving
