GAX 10232016

Had a lot of people codriving the Evo for the GAX event. The powertrain was solid, but unfortunately the brakes were showing their weakness. They actually started smoking while AD and I were codriving in the 2nd heat, so I decided to switch things up for the afternoon – I had TS run it in the 3rd heat on his own, and MP run it in the 4th on his own. Instead of driving my Evo in the 4th heat, to give my brakes a break I took out TS’s FRS. It was a blast, and really looking forward to driving a RWD car more in the future.

All 3 of the codrivers put down a faster time than I did, though I think I could have picked up some time in the afternoon. They were definitely driving harder, and I wasn’t comfortable with the brakes so I was definitely holding back a little.
