Swapped in a new muffler in hopes of quieting the exhaust down a little. The improvement was marginal, but noticeable enough both cruising around town and on the highway, where tire/road noise is now louder than the engine itself. The sound of the exhaust is much more muffled and the noise level is slightly decreased, with a decease in drone overall.

Given the size difference, I thought it would be a little quieter than this but it is a 3″ straight through, so without adding a secondary muffler is this about as quiet as she is going to get! The muffler itself looks good, and very happy with the swap. Uninstall and reinstall was a breeze with Buschur’s slip fit system, and everything was a perfect fit.
