Evo Oil Change How To

Requires:

• 4 1/2 quarts of 10w30 oil (Red Line 5w30)
• 1 oil filter
• 17mm wrench

Oil & Filter – Red Line 30wt & Amsoil Ea15K20

Step 1 – Get the car up either on jacks or ramps to access under the car.

Step 2 – Locate the drain plug & oil filter. Drain plug is the silver bolt, the oil filter is the cylinder behind it.

Step 3 – Drain the oil. Unbolt the drain plug with the 17mm wrench and let the oil drain out. Afterwards, unscrew the oil filter and dump the oil in it.

Step 4 – Install new oil filter. It’s always a good idea to add some new oil into the oil filter. Wet the rubber seal of the oil filter with oil as well. Screw on hand tight. Reinstall drain plug once the oil is done draining as well.

Step 5 – Refill oil. I always add half a quart less than the max capacity, drive the car and let it settle before topping off. That’s it!
