First event of the season in Stl today – very cold temps. Struggled with the back end turn around, I think I should have braked in a straight-line first, more, and then went through. Car felt good, as it always does in the cold. Still working on slalom distance, and in general, save for the back-end I think I am slowing down a little too much for a few corners where I can carry more speed but aren’t trying to. Need to work on pushing the car a little more vs. settling at where I think it can turn. Would explain the consistency in my times, as I’m trying to do the same thing over and over.
Things to work on (Mini):
- Carry more speed in a few of these transitions; brake a little less
- Attempt to go faster vs settling at speed
Notes (Mini):
- Same setup from 2017
- 40/45 psi
- Pax Points: 9,721
- 2018 Runs: 6 (52 on tires)
2018 Run Count: 12 (+6 Mini)
