2008-2020 Toyota Sequoia Air Filter Change How-To

This is a how-to for the 2008-2020 (Gen 2) Toyota Sequoia’s air filter change. You gotta love Toyota’s design simplicity here, no tools required.

Items/Tools Required:

Step 1: Locate the 4 clips that hold the air filter box down. They hook the top and bottom together using a latch mechanism.
Step 2: Undo the latches – there are 4 in total.
Step 3: Swap air filters. The larger/thicker end goes on the bottom. If there is a lot of debris in the air filter compartment, be sure to clean it before installing the new filter.
