Had a great day in Champaign yesterday for the CCSCC event. Decided to start codriving with my old mentor from 2014 for both our benefit. He has a codriver he is taking to nationals, and I am in need of Mini competition/experience. From a raw time standpoint, things are very close between us, which is a good sign to me that I’ve improved since we starting driving.
DM drives much more aggressively, and uses a lot of tire. I think I am smoother overall, but not as aggressive, and somewhere in between is the happy medium of a faster time. I did take he edge over him this event however – his fastest clean was a 44 to my 43.610, though he did run a dirty 43.486. Videos below:

Things to work on (Mini):
- Focus on the line, not the car
- Tighten up the line!!
- Try braking earlier
Notes (Mini):
- 6/9ths tank
- Ran 40/45, seems to work best
- Pax Points: 9,626, 1.301s behind

2016 Run Count: 68 (+6 Mini)
