Changed the oil @ 3027 miles today. This is the start of what I plan to be a comprehensive engine oil comparison test. OEM fluid is coming out and getting sent to Blackstone, and the next oil I am testing is Pennzoil Ultra 5w30. Also did a transmission fluid change, for which I am making a how to post, and decided to spray and coat the suspension with Boeshield while the car was up. That is all.

4/10/2014 – I can say this oil definitely feels much smoother than the OEM MINI engine fluid. Significant. I wouldn’t be surprised if I pick up 1mpg or so. Jury’s out on how well it protects though.
