This is a chromoly piece that is fully tig welded. I ordered mine with the wrinkle black option & jack point. The piece weighed in at 4.5lbs, which should save 7.5lbs over stock. This is fortunate, as the two Nagisa fender braces I ordered add 2.9lbs each, in a similar area, albeit higher up in the car. I also opted for the 70a durometer bushing for this part. The 90a option is way too stiff, and there were no 60a bushings available. That said, this should be a solid piece for the Evo, which mounts to the transmission mount in the front for more positive shifts. I didn’t notice too much added NVH, just a litlte more vibration in the wheel at idle, but that was about it. It fit neatly above the stock undertray, and the only thing I had to make up for was to ziptie the back portion of the undertray to the brace, as there were no holes to insert the plugs for.
