2019-2022 Hyundai Veloster N Brake Bleed How-To

This is a how-to for the 2019-2022 (Gen 2) Hyundai Veloster N rear sway bar swap. Pretty simple as far as brake flushes go – nice, large, single piston calipers make bleeding the brakes an easier job than multiple piston calipers that have two banks of brake fluid. I bought a hydraulic brake bleeder but it was way, way too weak to actually pull any fluid through. Resorted to the old fashioned two-man, but I’d love to get a top to connect to one of my pressure bleeders.

Items/Tools Required:

  • Jack & Stands
  • An extra person or a pressure bleeder that fits the master cylinder top
  • 10mm open-ended wrench
  • Brake Fluid Bleeder Bottle
  • Brake Fluid (I chose Endless Racing Brake Fluid RF 650)

Not too much to report here – this Endless fluid always seems to firm up the brake pedal, and this was no exception. Incredibly responsive and torquey brakes are even more sensitive and grabby. Short how-to, but the process is the same as every other basic car I’ve done. Getting closer to prepped for its first solo with me at driver.
